This group is here to help survivors of sexual abuse understand that they are not alone in what they are experiencing and to help them turn to healthy coping skills, and establish a healthier relationship with themselves and others.
This is NOT a processing group, so you will not have to share details or your story or hear about others' trauma. The goals of this group over the next 6 weeks will focus on:
Better understanding of the impact of trauma & how it impacts your mental health, relationships, and day-to-day experience
Developing healthy coping skills to managing triggers & emotion
Establishing and maintaining boundaries & healthy relationships
Reconnecting with the body in safe ways
